Ziad Khalil

Ziad Khalil is an Associate at Eldib Advocates, specializing in Maritime, Aviation, Commercial, Civil, and Energy law. He earned his Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from the University of Alexandria’s French Department in 2019 and joined the firm in 2021. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in handling complex claims and legal matters related to cargo disputes, demurrage, and contract negotiations.
Ziad has been instrumental in drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal opinions, and safeguarding the interests of some of the world's largest shipping lines, freight forwarders, and terminals operating across Egyptian ports. He has also represented P&I Clubs, shipowners, and charterers before Egyptian authorities and courts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and defending clients in legal disputes.
With a background in legal research spanning three years, Ziad has developed a sharp analytical mindset, enabling him to achieve favorable litigation outcomes, resolve disputes proactively, and draft precise contracts, particularly in transportation and construction sectors.
Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, Ziad seamlessly navigates multinational legal environments, strengthening negotiations and client relations. His problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and keen attention to detail make him a valuable asset to both the firm and its clients.
