Mostafa Bahbah is an Associate in the Maritime & Corporate teams at Eldib Advocates, having joined the firm in May 2024. He earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Transactions and Maritime Transport.
Mostafa specializes in multijurisdictional commercial litigation and arbitration, with a strong focus on shipping disputes. His expertise covers a wide range of maritime and commercial matters, including charterparties (C/P), bills of lading, commodities, and sale and purchase agreements. He also advises on issues related to demurrage and detention of containers, cargo liens, wet and dry shipping, insurance claims, and the seizure and attachment of vessels.
With a comprehensive understanding of maritime law and international trade, Mostafa provides strategic legal counsel to clients navigating complex disputes and regulatory challenges. His commitment to pragmatic and results-driven solutions makes him a valuable asset to the firm’s maritime and corporate practice.

He has contributed to significant cases alongside senior Associates, including:
1- Assisting in successfully advising and representing a bunkering firm in a complex maritime dispute against shipowners, which resulted in the arrest of the vessel and the recovery of an amount exceeding $500,000.
2- Representing one of the P&I Clubs by overseeing crew safety procedures for one of its vessels and managing the case of an injured worker from the initial incident through to repatriation to their home country.
3- Advising and representing a shipping and maritime transport company before Egyptian courts in cases involving demurrage penalties, third-party liability, container damage, and cargo compensation claims
