Before becoming part of the firm, he gained valuable experience as part of the legal team at one of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, where he honed his skills in contract review, civil law, and labor law. Prior to that, he worked in the claims department of a multinational insurance brokerage company, further expanding his expertise in insurance and risk management.

Since joining Eldib Advocates, Mohamed has specialized in transportation law, focusing on both maritime and aviation sectors. With over a decade of experience as an admiralty lawyer, he provides comprehensive legal counsel to clients navigating the complexities of international shipping, air transport regulations, and commercial disputes. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks allows him to advise on compliance, contracts, liability issues, and dispute resolution for maritime operators, airlines, and logistics companies.

Mohamed’s expertise extends to shipping and commercial litigation, including charter party disputes, bills of lading, ship arrests, and sale and purchase conflicts. He is also experienced in settling claims between terminals, shipping lines, consignees, and shippers, ensuring smooth operations for clients in a rapidly evolving global trade environment. Recognized for his strategic approach and meticulous attention to detail, Mohamed is dedicated to protecting his clients' interests while delivering pragmatic and effective legal solutions.

    • Mohamed worked on a smuggling case which had been filed against carriers and terminals, where he succeeded to protect them from being accused or fined by the Customs Authority by exempting them from any accusation before the Public Prosecution.

    • Mohamed also succeeded in obtaining an arrest order on a vessel owned by the debtor’s sister company by proving to the court that the vessel is owned by the company X and the latter is owned by Y (the debtor) who is the only beneficiary of the said vessel, and accordingly, the company Y (the debtor) is the actual owner of the vessel in question.

    • Mohamed had succeeded to represent a contractual carrier in a cargo claim related to Air Way bill previously filed against both the actual and the contractual carriers where he succeeded to obtain a favorable judgment for the contractual carrier. The competent court issued its judgment by rejecting the case by reason that the claimant did not notify the opponents within a period of 14 days in compliance with the Montréal Convention.
